The 2 days tour to the desert of Zagora is perfect for those who are short on time and want to experience some of the Moroccan desert. The tour allows you to enjoy a desert adventure, drive along the Berber villages and UNESCO World Heritage sites, Embark on a camel trek and spend the night in Sahara Desert under the stars. You’ll also experience the Berbers lifestyle and discover an ancient history of the many sites we visit during the 02 days.

Day 1 : Marrakech → Ouarzazate → Draa Valley → Zagora.
We will start our adventure by picking you up from your Hotel/Riad at 8:00 AM then hit the road! We will drive through the dramatic Tizi n’Tichka pass which reaches an altitude of 2260 M! On route to Ouarzazate we will journey through the High Atlas Mountains passing by Berber villages and beautiful landscapes. Carry on to Ouarzazate for lunch, maybe it’s time to try some great local cuisine; later on, sightseeing of the Taourirt Kasbah for a quick tour and photo opportunity. Then continue on and pass through the Draa Valley, it is considered as the largest palm-trees valley in Morocco. Arrive into Zagora before sunset and embarking on our camel ride for an hour through the Sahara desert, ending up in our Bivouac for dinner, Berber music and a good night’s rest.
Day 2 : Zagora → Ait Benhaddou → Marrakech.
Start our morning off with an early wake-up call in order to experience a picturesque sunrise in the Sahara, enjoy a breakfast by the dunes. After we will then embark on our camel ride back to join our driver and head to Ait Ben Haddou. It’s an infamous kasbah and the scene for many hollywood hits; Films such as Gladiator, The Mummy and Alexander were filmed in this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Embark on a small and simple hike up to the top of the Kasbah for the best views of the area, noting the greenery surrounding the river. Make sure to pick some great post card souvenirs that are made by the locals using watered down cobalt and green tea alongside fire. Next stop, Marrakech; continue on route towards the city passing through Tizi n’ Tichka.
